Commands run from routers

1. ping

2. trace

The ping command can be used to check the connectivity among two different nodes in the network.

The trace command can be used to check the whole path used by the communication between the sender and the receiver. 

3. show ip route

By this command, the routing table of the router can be visible. 

4. show interfaces

This command shows information of all the interfaces available on the router.

5. show running-config

This command can show the current configuration of the router.

6.hostname _____

To change or rename the name of the router, the hostname command is used.
